Love and scandal are the best sweeteners of tea (Henry Fielding, Love in Several Masques)
Strange how a teapot can represent at the same time the comforts of solitude and the pleasures of company (Author Unknown)
Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cozy, doesn't try it on (Billy Connolly)
Tea. I do not drink ‘normal’ tea. My preference is for herbal infusions. Which are probably not strictly ‘tea’ at all.
I enjoy Rooibos tea, black. I may add a teaspoon of honey and squeeze of lemon juice. I find the herbal infusions smell much nicer than they taste. Peppermint tea is quite good.
At the Reiki course I tried: chilli tea, 3 ginger tea, cinnamon tea and mandarin & ginger tea. The chilli tea would take some getting used to.
In this cold, wet and windy weather we are having at the moment, a pot of comfort tea is called for.
Or a hot choc is even better !! ;)
