365 Days, Day 36

Fashion is architecture: it is a matter of proportions. (Coco Chanel)

Less is more. (Ludwig Mies van der Rohe – Modernist architect)

Less is a bore. (Robert Venturi – Post-Modernist architect)

Day of fashion and architecture.
Escaped from the Lily and home today, for a quick 'Indian' visit to Brighton. Made our way to the beach front pier because we were parked close to it, had a meander down the market lanes*: had a coffee and bought a floaty Indian skirt, was inspired by the exterior of Royal Pavilion (as always), found a twig for Lily as a present. Made our way home again.
* Saw the most amazingly eccentric elderly gentleman - he was wearing a brightly coloured sequined jacket and jeans. I loved his quirkiness!
