The early bird catches the worm.
I have learned a thing or two about house-hunting:
if you see something you like, make an offer on it immediately otherwise it gets whipped from under your nose;
there are some lovely properties to rent – if you have loads of money;
there are some lovely properties in dodgy areas;
there are dodgy properties in lovely areas.
I went to Birmingham to help Kyle and Sarah home-hunt. I thoroughly enjoyed myself – Birmingham is a delightful city, full of culture and energy. Not quite London, but then again it doesn’t pretend to be London, and it doesn’t need to. It has its own personality.
