365 Days, Day 68

Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts (Author Unknown)

Family faces are magic mirrors. Looking at people who belong to us, we see the past, present, and future (Gail Lumet Buckley)

Family

This is Roarke, wearing AriĆ©l’s panda hat.

When Roarke was little he sang a little song: “I love skin, Ninny, Ninny, Nin”. He was referring to crispy chicken skin, but this little tune of his often pops into my head.

Roarke is like a big panda: he is a big softy. He is a soft beautiful soul. A wonderful delightful person; I enjoy spending time in his company. he has found an equally beautiful girl, Gina (I think she found him though, being rather reserved she had to do the ‘finding’) who looks after him, now that we have moved away and he has moved into the next phase of his life.

He is an artist who is exceptionally talented; his drawings are unbelievably exquisite. I am constantly amazed at his vision in his artwork. He can see and create remarkable 3D works.

I could go on, but am being chivvied along because we are going to supper with Roarke and Gina now!

Tomorrow the spotlight will be on Kyle!
