365 Days, Day 91

The wise man bridges the gap by laying out the path by means of which he can get from where he is to where he wants to go (John Pierpont Morgan)

We build too many walls and not enough bridges (Isaac Newton)

When one burns one's bridges, what a very nice fire it makes (Dylan Thomas)

Sometimes we need to make changes in our lives so that we do not stagnate. We need to move forward to a place which may seem difficult to reach. It may be out of comfort zone. We may have to make plans and sacrifices (not the burning of goats and sheep hopefully) in order to facilitate the bridge being built.

From the warm confines of your comfort zone, think of a bridge that you can build. Go on an adventure in your mind to start with. What imaginary bridges could you build?

Draw your imaginary bridge – have loads of labels on your drawing. It can be a “physical” bridge or a metaphorical bridge…

Keep your bridge tucked away (not too far) in your mind and let the yeast in your idea rise.

Tell me about your bridges: I want to see inside your mind.

  2. Your bridge doesn't have to be over water. If you put your hand, I will take it and assist you.
